Plein Air Painting Expedition

Service Description

This painting day is designed for you to connect with your creativity, enjoy some mindful time and have fun with yourself and friends out in nature. This session encourages you to get immersed in our natural landscape and the moment. It's suitable for all stages and abilities and is for those aged 12+ ( under 18's are to be accompanied by an adult). We'll explore specific techniques that you can continue to use to get in touch with yourself day to day. This is a peek into my artistic process and one of my personal mindful practises. Let's meet at 10 am at Beck's cafe in Kiama Heights to grab a warm drink before we take just a short walk to our painting location. There I will guide you through painting your very own landscape being guided by our surrounds, sharing my tips and tricks for capturing the scene in oil paints. I can't wait to paint the Sunday morning away with you in the beautiful landscape at The Little Blowhole. What is included: * 2-2.5 hr guided art session * personal art supplies pack for use on the day * a wood panel for painting on with hanging gear included, ready to hang What to bring: * a pillow or blanket to sit on * water * painting clothes You'll go home with a finished painting ready to hang on your walls or perhaps to be gifted to a loved one.
