IN THE STUDIO
Painting is how I pay attention.
Working mainly in oils, pulling from my inner world, life experiences and observations, I create to make sense of and document my time here. With a focus on my synaesthetic response, colour and emotion and how these two sit in my body, direct each piece. Sometimes these take form in something more recognisable. At other times, everything dissolves into expressive gestures across the canvas.
