A commission is a bit different to buying something off the shelf. It starts with a conversation about the space, the feeling you're after, and the colours you're drawn to. If you have a particular idea in mind we can discuss how to bring that idea onto the canvas. On the other hand, you don't need to arrive with a clear picture in your head. Through conversation between artist and collector, we can create a piece distinctly yours.

If you're familiar with my art you'll know I love working with oil paints and oil pastels, using lots of colour and texture. My work is abstract and expressive, so we won't be recreating a photograph. What we will do is find the palette and the movement that captures what you're after. Take a peek at the different categories in my web shop to get an idea of the sorts of themes and styles I work with. If something in there stops you, tell me. It's often the quickest way for me to understand what you're after. Some want to work collaboratively, others leave me completely to my own artistic intuition.
